Advocacy

Advocating for a child with a disability can be overwhelming. With deep experience in the education system, Holly works alongside families to ensure students receive the individualized support and services they need to succeed. Special Education Advocate services include: 

  • IEP & 504 Plan Support
    • Attend and support parents in IEP and 504 Plan meetings
    • Help parents prepare for meetings and understand the process
    • Ensure your child’s needs, goals, and services are clearly defined and appropriate
  • Evaluation & Plan Review
    • Review evaluations, IEPs, 504 Plans, and educational records

    • Explain your rights under IDEA, Section 504, and the ADA

This standalone consultation is for parents who need targeted guidance on a specific issue. Questions typically revolve around:

During the one-hour virtual consultation, Holly will assess your situation, explain relevant procedural safeguards and best practices, and help you determine next steps. You will leave with actionable guidance and a clear plan.


This service is ideal for families who need focused support without ongoing representation.

Corrective Action Implementation

When a state complaint or compliance review requires corrective action, a special education advocate will provide expert guidance to help school districts meet these obligations efficiently and effectively. As a previous special education director with extensive experience in compliance and program management, we offer practical solutions tailored to your district’s needs. Corrective action services include: 


  • Policy & Procedure Review: Align district policies with IDEA, Section 504, and state regulations.
  • Staff Training: Deliver focused training on compliance, IEP development, and procedural safeguards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Organize and prepare required documentation for state agencies.
  • IEP Support: Assist with revising IEPs, and planning compensatory services.
